Galiot Lanka Security Service complies with all regulations governing Private Security Firms and strictly adheres to the labour laws of Sri Lanka. Security Staff is paid well above the minimum wages stipulated by the Labour Department in order to maintain high quality of service. Rates are being revised periodically in accordance with the government wages payable to the security personnel under the decision of the wages board.
Galiot Lanka ensures that all Staff and Security Personnel conduct themselves properly at all times and will be subject to a strict code of conduct to maintain high standard of Discipline and Good Order.

Preference is given to retired service personnel while recruitment and Galiot Lanka adhere to effective process of screening and security clearance to draw personnel with good and clean track record. Selection criteria includes physical wellness, age, appearance, and health.
All new recruits go through a short acclimatizing training session at the Area Office of Galiot Lanka, followed by a on site familiarizing session prior to deployment.
Galiot Lanka conducts ongoing training programs at regular basis, for Security Officers of all grades on basic security regulations, current safety measures and procedures.
On clients' requests Galiot Lanka carry out training programs, practices and rehearsals on Fire Prevention, First Aid and other security and protection related subjects.
Visiting Officer visit every deployed guard post day and night to ensure alertness of the deployment.
