Day 1 & 2 - Sigiriya
At the Bandaranaike International Airport, a Green Valley Travels Representative will assist you to a luxury vehicle and drive you to the popular town of Sigiriya. En-route, you will explore the Dambulla Cave Temple – a world heritage site which is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. You will then check in to Cinnamon Lodge for the night – dinner and breakfast included. On day 02 of this beach tour in Sri Lanka, you will visit the Lion’s Rock in Sigiriya – remnants of a rock fortress built by an ancient King of Sri Lanka. Next, you will take a village tour in Sigiriya and then enjoy an authentic rice and curry meal for a real Sri Lankan experience. Day 3, 4 & 5 - Trincomalee
The next morning, you will depart to Trincomalee on the east coast of the island. En-route you will visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa and explore some historical ruins there. You have the next three days to relax and enjoy the soft sands and turquoise blue waters of Sri Lanka’s beautiful east coast. |
Day 6 - Negombo
On day 06, you will transfer to Negombo and check in to Green Valley Travels Beach for the last night of your stay in Sri Lanka. |
Day 7 - Airport
Since the airport is a very short drive from Negombo, you have plenty of time to relax at the hotel and beach before you pack up and check out. Depending on your flight time, your Green Valley Travels representative will be waiting to drive you back to the airport.
